Description
Base systems are a way of counting, also known as positional numeral systems, which can represent all values using a limited set of symbols. The number of symbols used is called the radix, and a base of n is referred to as n-base. For example, the decimal system we commonly use in daily life uses 10 Arabic digits (0-9) for counting, so its radix is 10, referred to as decimal.
